About the Valley Land Fund

The Board of Directors of Valley Land Fund warmly thanks four people who were central to the development of this Website:

ROBERT JONAS
	Jonas very generously donated the use of his studio and underwrote the services our Webmaster. Jonas leads a retreat center in Northampton that focuses on Christian- Buddhist dialogue. He writes, “I am grateful to know the good folk at Valley Land Fund who volunteer their time to preserve our Valley’s precious open lands. CHRISTINE LABICH
	Chris very kindly gave us permission to post her painting of the Connecticut River as our Website header, and gave us invaluable assistance designing the color scheme for the site. She is an artist living in Shutesbury, and writes, “I love the landscape of the Connecticut Valley and am deeply committed to working for its preservation.” Please take a moment to visit Christine's website.
JOHN BODY
	John Body, a talented photographer and videographer, contributed many of the beautiful photos on this Website. A Dean at Mount Holyoke College, John is also a passionate naturalist, known throughout the Valley for his work in tracking local animal routes, with a view to establishing wildlife corridors. NANCY HAVER
	Nancy is an Amherst-based graphic artist who most generously donated her time and talent to create our handsome new logo and the four quadrants that represent the landscapes we protect. She describes herself as “an avid naturalist”, and writes, “To me land protection is one of the most urgent matters facing us, so I wanted to do my bit to help the cause.” Please take a moment to visit Nancy's website.
BRIT ALBRITTON
	With great imagination and expertise, Brit worked with us to redesign our Website. He is also very active in the Pioneer Valley choral arts community; he sings, serves on boards, and organizes benefit concerts. Brit writes, “It has been an honor working with VLF's Ann, Sally, John and Jonas. Their dogged efforts to preserve the beauty around us, beauty I too often take for granted, has been an inspiration.”
